Join us for the Times+ Book Club from Cheltenham Literature Festival to hear Richard Osman, Pointless host and author of the best-selling The Thursday Murder Club.
The popular Pointless host burst on to the book scene last autumn with The Thursday Murder Club, a warm and witty novel of septuagenarian friends solving crimes from their nursing home. It became the fastest selling adult crime debut since records began, beating Barack Obama, David Walliams and JK Rowling to reach Christmas No.1, and has sold well over one million copies.
12 months on – and with Steven Spielberg now holding the film rights – Richard returns to Cheltenham in conversation with journalist and broadcaster Alex Clark to reflect on the book’s remarkable success and introduce the next instalment, The Man Who Died Twice.
This event will be a recording of Richard’s event taking place at The Cheltenham Literature Festival on Sunday, October 10 at 9pm in The Times and The Sunday Times Forum. To find out more visit cheltenhamfestivals.com/literature/
