Join us on the evening of October, 5 to hear Sarah Jossel, Beauty Director at The Sunday Times Style in conversation with Annalise Fard, Director of Beauty, Home and Fine Jewellery & Watches at Harrods as they discuss the ever-expanding world of salon treatments, finding what’s right for you, and what makes Harrods Salon truly unique.
Plus, they will be answering your questions and providing you with an exclusive tour of the new Hair and Beauty Salon.
Having opened their first ‘Hairdressing and Manicure Department’ 1894 Harrods has a rich history in hair & beauty. Now, after a magical makeover, Harrods Hair and Beauty salon has re-opened on the fifth floor of the iconic Knightsbridge store.
For the department’s latest transformation, the new Hair and Beauty Salon has been completely redesigned by London based Sparcstudio Design, and pays homage to the salon’s 1982 design, featuring glossy peach marble, beautiful cream stone counters and powder-pink walls with gold finishes. The newly designed space hosts treatment spaces that include a Backwash Room, Conditioning Bar, Hairdressing Rotunda, Eye Zone, and even a Hair Extension Library.
With the renovation of the Beauty Halls and addition of the Hair & Beauty Salon, Harrods Knightsbridge is a trailblazing beauty destination, and among the largest in the world. But the Harrods beauty experience doesn’t stop at Knightsbridge. You can also discover H Beauty stores in Lakeside and Milton Keynes, with three new locations opening in Edinburgh, Bristol and Newcastle in 2021.
Sarah Jossel is beauty director at The Sunday Times' Style magazine.
Annalise Fard is the Director of Beauty, Home and Fine Jewellery and Watches at Harrods. She began her career in Harrods in 1997 and has headed up many divisions. Under Annalise’s direction, beauty at Harrods has been transformed, with the sixth floor becoming dedicated to luxury fragrance in the form of Salon de Parfums, the launch of The Hair and Beauty Salon on the fifth floor and The Wellness Clinic launching on the fourth floor. In recent years, Annalise has been at the helm of a shift in the industry, bringing Harrods most sought-after beauty brands to a wider UK audience through two standalone H beauty stores, the first opened in September 2020 in Lakeside, Essex and more recently centre:mk in Milton Keynes in April of 2021.
